Sky Kids Cafe at London’s Vinyl Factory

Working on health and safety as Sky Kids Cafe comes to the Vinyl Factory.

When the children’s themed play and cafe experience Sky Kids Cafe took over London’s Vinyl Factory, Symphotech was entrusted to oversee health and safety.

The event, which ran between May 30th and June 1st 2016, was held to promote the launch of the Sky Kids app which gave youngsters the chance to step into the world of their favourite TV shows sample three imaginative play areas and taste a special menu put together by celebrity chef Lisa Faulkner.

Because children aged three years old up to 11 were attending, we identified what protection measures were needed and worked with Children’s Services at Westminster City Council to write a child protection policy which was given to all staff before the were allowed to work at the venue.

Symphotech’s Will Hodgson oversaw all aspects of safety during the two-day build process and remained available when the cafe opened, ready to respond to any issues that arose.
